Wilona Jo Cobine, 64, passed away on March 28, 2026, in Monmouth, Oregon. She was born on September 20, 1961, in Salem, Oregon, to Donald and Dalene Cobine, and was raised in Independence, Oregon. Wilona attended school in Independence, graduating from Central High School.

Wilona was a devoted mother who raised her sons as a single parent, meeting life's challenges with strength, resilience, and unwavering love. Her dedication to her family was at the heart of everything she did.

She was a woman of faith who attended a Methodist church and held a deep interest in spiritualism. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially tending to her garden and collecting unicorns-interests that reflected her unique spirit and sense of wonder.

She will be remembered for her sassy personality, sharp sense of humor, and deeply kind heart. Wilona believed strongly in paying it forward-spreading kindness, sharing laughter, and embracing life fully, even through its challenges. She had a special gift for bringing light and joy to those around her.

Wilona is survived by her sons, Chad Cobine, Richard Cobine, and Joseph William Cobine; her sister, Cindy Cobine Dale; and her brother, Daniel Cobine. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
