Raymond Wren Landers, 60, died August 2, 2024 in Portland Oregon from Renal Failure.
Raymond was born in Burns, Oregon on June 23, 1964 to John and Helen Landers, Raymond joined twin sisters Irene and Cyrene who have always been his biggest supporters. They are so proud of the kind, caring and thoughtful man he became.
Raymond entered Fairview Training Center in Salem, Oregon at the age of 5. He remained there until age 16 when he moved to a group home in Portland, Oregon. He attended Jefferson High School and upon completion worked for St. Vincent de Paul Loves and Fishes program for 27 years. Being very social, Raymond enjoyed his job and loved being helpful. He made friends easily that would last his lifetime. Everybody knows Raymond and he liked calling and seeing friends often. He loved everyone and told them so. Raymond enjoyed attending the Greater Portland Baptist Church.
Raymond was involved in Special Olympics and was an accomplished bowler. He liked fishing, playing Nintendo, and doing puzzles. He enjoyed traveling with his sisters on many trips to the coast, Disneyland, Hawaii and Las Vegas.
Raymond was proceeded in death by his beloved grandparents Raymond(Red)and Naomi Walter, mother Helen Landers and father John Landers.
Raymond will be greatly missed by his sisters Irene(Darrell) Tallan, Cyrene Dickenson(Charlie Smith) and many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. He is also survived by half siblings Melodi DeBorger, Marla(Tim) Campbell, Jenny(Paul) Valencia, and Jeremy(Kimberly) Landers.
Burial services will be at the Burns Cemetery in Burns, Oregon.
