He was survived by his two daughters Melissa Killion and Susan Shepherd as well as his three granddaughters Caitlyn Killion, Lucy Shepherd, and Allison Killion: and his brother and sister Becky Plum and David Martin as well as his mother Barbara Martin. Mike graduated from South Salem High School but lived most of his life in Independence, OR. He graduated from Oregon State University and served in the U.S. Army in Germany and Vietnam. He accomplished much in his lifetime but the most important thing in his life was his family, especially his three granddaughters. He was loved by many and will not be forgotten. We love you dad, GRANDPAW, brother, uncle, son and friend.
There is a special meaning behind the spelling of GRANDPAW, not a typo.....
At Mike's request, no service will be held. Private interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery in Independence.
