Keven Michael Christensen was born February 11, 1955, to Maurice William and Georgiana Theresa (Sechser) Christensen. He was the sixth child in a loving family of twelve children.
Keven attended school in Turner County, South Dakota for grades one through seven. In 1969, his family moved to Lakewood, California, where he attended Cecil B. DeMille Jr. High in Long Beach and then Lakewood High School, graduating in 1973. He continued his education at Long Beach City College before deciding to move to Oregon.
On December 6, 1980, Keven married Vickie Price Dysinger and welcomed her two young children, Charles and Jennifer, into his life. Together, they expanded their family with the birth of their son, Michael, and daughter, Kimberly.
Keven found lasting love when he married Carrie Reilly on October 16, 1993, and welcomed her daughter, Lacey, as his own. Throughout their 31-year marriage, Keven and Carrie shared a deep passion for horses, symbolized by taking their wedding vows on horseback. They enjoyed team penning, roping, and Kevin proudly carried the US Flag in the St. Paul Rodeo, where he served as a director for 13 years. He treasured leisure rides with family and friends.
In recent years, there was nothing Keven loved more than spending time with his grandchildren, Gracie and Hattie, with the exception of his beloved wife Carrie. He would regularly pick the girls up and take them for special rides to the farm, creating cherished memories and strengthening their bond with each adventure. These trips to the farm were among Keven's most treasured times, as he delighted in sharing his love of the outdoors and animals with them. Keven also loved attending car shows with his award-winning 1982 CJ5 Jeep (affectionately named "Homey") and his 1960 Falcon, previously owned by his brother Brad. He took special delight in teaching his grandchildren everything there was to know about these beloved vehicles, passing down his passion and knowledge to the next generation.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie; two sons, Chuck Dysinger (Wife Toni) Woodburn; and Mike Christensen, Tuttle OK. Three daughters, Jennifer Wagner (Husband Chris) Yukon OK; Kimberly Burroughs (Husband CJ) Benson AZ and Lacey Blair (Husband Dolan) Dallas; A special "daughter", Ashley Dornhecker (Husband Chance) Monmouth; Father in-law, Ron Henley, Newberg; Twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
