Kenneth Lyle Robe

Kenneth Lyle Robe, beloved Husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 11th, 2026, at the age of 70.

Ken was born in Seoul, South Korea to Carol and Elaine Robe and was raised in Burns, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington, with his sister, Carolyn and brother, Nils.

He attended Washington State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree and participating in ROTC. Before beginning his 31-year career as a copier technician, Ken worked in a bicycle repair shop, where he met the love of his life, Catherine. They married on March 24, 1979, in Pullman, Washington.

Ken was an exceptional technician and a gifted mechanic from an early age-a true natural. His dedication and skill were recognized throughout his career; he received every award his company offered and was sent to Haiwaii in recognition of his outstanding work.

Outside of work, Ken loved cycling, music, anime, gardening, and fixing things for others. A cross-country runner in his younger years, he continued to find joy in staying active and working with his hands. Those who knew Ken will remember his wonderful smile, infectious laugh and sense of humor. He had a generous spirit and a gift for making things better, whether repairing something that was broken or simply brightening someone's day.

Ken was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Robe; his three daughters, Melissa, Alicia, and Jennifer; his sister Carolyn Robe; and his brother, Nils Robe.

Ken leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, family, friendship, and countless memories. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
