Gertrude Elaine Cook

Born August 28, 1938 in Lewiston, Idaho to Harold and Ella Robinson. She was married to Jack E. Cook on June 29, 1956, and spent 54 years together until Jacks passing in 2010. Together they had four children. She was a stay at home mom and helped Jack with his raising and breeding horses and cleaning stalls. She loved her time spent hunting, camping, fishing and traveling, checking out the many Ghost towns in the states.

After a hip injury in November 2025 and rehab she came to live with her daughter and Son-in-law in Netarts for more rehab. Her health steadily declined and on August 3, 2026 she passed away in Netarts with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack and a sister Barbara. She is survived by one brother Roger of Tempe, AZ., son Paul of Monmouth, OR., daughter Pearl and husband Ken of Netarts, OR., son Sandy and companion Nancy of Spokane, WA., son Clay and companion Julie of Canyon City, OR., several Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

Per Elaine's wishes there will be no service.
